Witness The Fitness
Myself & ATSY Got 2nd Place For 5km Tag Team @ True Fitness. Yes! We got 2nd place & I won 3 months FREE membership in True Fitness @ Jaya 33. Not that I need it coz I don't like gyms. I like Rock Climbing & SCUBA Diving. Anyway, its about time I/someone gave them a taste of their own medicine. Some True Fitness Trainers & regular customers there were shock coz I could do stuff they can't do. Yes, I gotta give myself some credit. And because of that, they started all their tactics & try to get me to join the yearly membership. Hah! Please. Of all their customers which they are trying to convince to join the gym membership, I can tell you I am their most difficult customer. Nuff said.
Credit to YMCJ & FNT for doing the run as well. They motivated myself & ATSY. Awesome!

Duck Tales
My new Fins. The XS SCUBA Power Fins. Its about the same design as Scubapro. Traditional all rubber design fins. Duck Feet fins are used at Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL Training. Yes I did my research on Fins. So if you're reading this Kap & Virata, its really not that expensive so might wanna consider these fins coz if you take care of it properly it will last you a good 5 years or more.

Temporary Open Water License
Inside A Divers Log Book
Divers Log Book
Recreational Dive Planner (RDP)
All divers should have these planners. Its important because it shows you the depth you intend to dive down to & by using this planner, divers calculate how much time is needed to be spent out of water before their next dive. Well, season divers usually go buy the high tech gadgeowthat shows you everything but I guess it is still important to know how to calculate using this planner just to be safe.

Chillin @ Some Hut
The Dive Centre
Roughly Everything We Had To Do
Another Day Of Diving Theory
The theory is really important I'd say coz thats where you can get clear explanation from the instructor. The video is good as well obviously but I think people in general always understand instructions quicker if someone would to explain it to ya. And besides you might just fall asleep watching the video because the course is pretty intensive & its difficult to pay full attention when you're exhausted.

Clear Ocean Water
In case you all don't know, everything underwater is magnified by 30%. My feet looks damn huge in the water. You know although we dived down to a maximum of 18 to 21 metres in depth, personally I didn't think it look very deep from below coz everything is magnified by 30%. It really is deep but I just didn't feel it which is a good thing actually.

Open Water Diver Manual
We have to study these Diver manuals. Very important. Lots of must know information about the safety issues & skills before, while & after diving. Its also pretty interesting really. This manual apparently cost couple of hundred bucks. Its like half of my open water diving course already.
The calculations are a lil complicating though. Its also in the final test. The calculations using the dive planner is extremely important coz it will tell you how much time you should be spending in & out of the water before the next dive.

We Had Barracuda For Dinner
My first time eating Barracuda. Its damn good I tell ya. Got to see lots of Barracudas out at night waiting to eat fish. They just chill at the surface & wait for fish to be near by them. Quite boring actually. But they are scary looking & I definitely respect them if I'm in the ocean. Don't wanna mess around with them really.

2 Minutes Later
My SCUBA Diving Course Instructor
He looks like a physicist don't you think? He looks a lil blur as well. But you know that he's a darn good SCUBA Diving Instructor.
He's real quick to save you in the water if you must know. Even if its a false alarm, he just appears beside you in a split second to see if everything is okay.
He has proven that to me because I panicked once while doing a dive skill & he was there. Next thing I know I'm on the surface of the water.
Very professional instructor I must say.
Its really important that you have an instructor that knows how to teach & perform all the necessity safety skills that are needed for diving.
Some instructors may have the instructor's status but that doesn't mean he can teach well.
Oh by the way people, my instructor may look like a nerdy physicist on Land but when he's in
the water all kit up, he's fast & looks damn freakin cool.

CONTINUUM
REWIND to 19th June, 2005 - I finally found the sport that has become my Passion today. Yes I started Rock Climbing on this particular date at the climbing gym located at the Summit shopping mall. I've been good at almost every sport that I have taken up since I was young but that doesn't mean I loved it. Then comes Rock Climbing. It took just a couple of climbs for this Extreme Sport to become my Passion. Its challenging as hell but the feeling I get when I'm able to reach the anchor or the last hand hold with both hands holding it firmly is so unreal. Unfortunately, I can't describe how I felt to you in words but I can tell you this, you wanna find out.. start Rock Climbing. Nuff said.
FAST FORWARD to 19th June, 2008 - Today I'm still very much into Rock Climbing. Its been exactly 3 years now & guess what people, coincidentally I'm starting a whole new adventure. SCUBA Diving! I'm headed to Pulau Tioman in couple of hours time to take my Open Water Diving License.. Finally! Just so happen that my friends booked these dates to go for it. Its a great moment for me particularly & I realize now that adventure is a part of me & nothing can possibly take that away from me.
* Special thanks to JYCY for introducing me to Rock Climbing =) *

Triggerfish - Must Watchout
Titan Triggerfish (above) & Picasso Triggerfish (below). Known to be very aggressive fishes & they do Bite. But on the other hand my friend says it will only be aggressive if you swim too close to a nursing triggermum and her baby. I'll still watchout for them nevertheless.
The Titan triggerfish looks damn Macho =0 I generally don't wanna mess around with it judging by their appearance.
Hmm.. the Titan kinda looks like Marilyn Manson especially the lips? I don't know. Just a thought =P

Highly Recommended TV Series
Daila Ojeda & Chris Sharma ( A Couple )
Daila Ojeda & Chris Sharma (who are a couple) decided to go climbing in Oliana in spite of the rain and they got their reward; Daila sent Marroncita, 8b+ while Sharma did the FA of his own Papichulo, 9a+.
Some days ago ( meaning May 2008 I think), Chris also sent Victimas del Pasat, 8c+ in Margalef.
What the hell? Chris Sharma's chiq can climb 8b+. Julian O. Are you reading this? It only means one thing.. I gotta climb much harder & train harder somehow. Some injuries of mine unfortunately are preventing me from getting better at this moment but hopefully it will all go away soon.

Look Who's Chilling At Old Town White Coffee
Open Water Diving License THIS WEEKEND
Its confirmed. One side of me is thrilled & looking forward to this trip to Pulau Tioman to take my diving license. The other side however is feeling a lil nervous. I've always like exploring new stuff so diving should be fun. Just a lil nervous thats all. Gotta get myself together, be safe & just do it!

The Incredible Hulk
The latest Incredible Hulk is much better than the previous one for sure. The one with Eric Bana wasn't as good. Edward Norton is an awesome actor & definitely the most suitable actor to play this role.
Anyway I won't give away the plot but more characters in one movie at the same time will be coming to the big screen in a couple of years time. Wait for it.

The Winner of Rock Master Bouldering Competition 2008, Riverside Clarke Quay Singapore
Malaysia's No.1 Climber Zam Wins the Bouldering competition so easily!
My First Finals - Rock Master Bouldering Competition 2008 at Riverside Clarke Quay, Singapore
At the beginning of my trip to Singapore I was just goin there mainly for the Rock Master Bouldering Competition 2008. Fortunately, I got more than I expected. I got into the finals. I was shocked. Haha! I guess my so called last minute training with Zam helped me a lil. I must say I had a lot of support frm ATSY & David a.k.a. Teik Teik. Also gotta thank the other climbers & the MC for their support. I didn't manage to finish the final routes but its okay. I gotta give myself some credit. I mean I got 10th out of 39 participants. Nuff said.
